Audience measurement (Matomo)
Counting visits and page views to see what's useful. Matomo runs on our servers; nothing is shared with third parties or used for ads. Off by default.
Display preferences
Keeping the country, language, display currency and light or dark theme you chose. Needed if you picked a country, language or theme yourself.
The list of cookies
- trokido_session (trokido.com): keep you logged in. Duration: end of session, or 30 days with “stay logged in”.
- XSRF-TOKEN (trokido.com): protect forms. Duration: session.
- trk_prefs (trokido.com): country, language and currency chosen by hand. Duration: 13 months.
- trk_consent (trokido.com): your cookie choices. Duration: 6 months.
- __cf_bm (Cloudflare): tell a human from a bot. Duration: 30 minutes.
- cf_clearance (Cloudflare): result of the anti-bot check. Duration: a few hours, according to Cloudflare.
- _pk_id, _pk_ses (trokido.com, Matomo): audience measurement. Duration: 13 months; 30 minutes.
Your cookie choices
- Refuse all: your choice is saved for 6 months in the trk_consent cookie. Matomo isn’t loaded. If you are logged in, your choice is also saved on your account. The banner disappears.
- Accept all: your choice is saved in the same way, then Matomo loads (script hosted on trokido.com).
- Save my choices: the state of the switches is saved; the choice window and the banner close.
- Escape in the choice window: it closes without saving anything; the banner stays visible. It isn’t an acceptance.
“Refuse all” and “Accept all” look the same: neither is highlighted. A simple daily counter, with no identifier or IP address, counts the choices made.
Changing your mind
The “Manage my cookies” link, at the bottom of every page, reopens the choice window with the current state. If you withdraw consent you gave, Matomo is unloaded, the _pk_id and _pk_ses cookies are deleted immediately and, if you are logged in, your choice is updated on your account.
When the list of cookies changes, the banner reappears to ask for your choice again.
