The essentials in four lines

• Posting a listing: free.
• Selling between individuals: no commission.
• Buying a shipped item: a protection fee, a cash on delivery surcharge, and shipping.
• Buying in person: no Trokido fees at launch.

All prices include all taxes; VAT is included and itemised on the invoice. When Trokido fees are paid in cash, their total is rounded down to the unit. Rounding always works in your favour.

Individual seller

• Posting a listing: free.
• Commission on a sale: none.
• Receiving the sale price: free, paid by the carrier according to its timeline.
• Withdrawing earnings from the wallet, once a week: free, with online payment.
• Express or branch withdrawal: paid, with online payment.

Buyer

• Buyer protection fee: on every shipped purchase. It combines a fixed part and a percentage of the price, with a cap: above a certain price, it stops rising.
• Cash on delivery surcharge: on every purchase paid to the courier.
• Delivery: the carrier’s rate, with a small surcharge, on every shipped purchase.
• In-person handover, direct payment: free, meeting with a code.
• In-person handover with payment in the app: protected mode, optional; free now, paid once online payment opens.
• Try-on at delivery, when the carrier offers it: coming soon.
• Payment by foreign card (diaspora): its own fee replaces the protection fee, with online payment.

The price of a delivery by a Trokido courier pays the courier; it isn’t a Trokido fee. Trokido keeps a share of it, part of which goes to a guarantee fund. The service opens city by city, first in Casablanca, Rabat-Salé-Témara and Marrakech.

Visibility: Boost and shopfront

The price of a Boost depends on the item’s price, by band.

• Boost for 3 days or 7 days.
• Discount from the 2nd Boost in the same order.
• Shopfront for 7 days: at least 5 active listings, 15 displayed.
• Eid and weddings Boost, 7 days, Ceremony section: on the announced dates.
• Launch offer: 3 free 3-day Boosts when you first post 5 listings.
• Diaspora Boost (visible from Europe): coming soon.

A Boost starts on payment. It moves the listing up in its category and city for the period bought, without guaranteeing views or a sale. It isn’t refunded if the item is sold, removed or edited during that period. At launch, Boosts are bought in the app, through Google Play or App Store in-app purchase; if the store’s price tier doesn’t allow the exact price, the price shown at the time of purchase applies.

Local listings

Posting a local listing (vehicle, housing, job, service, bulky item) is free. No meeting or code fees: no money passes through Trokido.

• Instant bump: once to the top of the latest listings in your city.
• Daily bump for 7 days: one bump a day at 9 am.
• Featured for 7 days: two reserved spots at the top of the section, “Featured” badge.
• Featured for 30 days: the same, for 30 days.
• Urgent: “Urgent” badge until the listing ends.
• “Sell fast” pack: daily bump + Featured for 7 days + Urgent.

One free bump per week remains available from the 7th day online.

Pro accounts

• Free Pro: 100 active listings, 1 user. Verified Pro badge, shopfront with map and opening hours, in-store pickup, basic statistics.
• Starter: 300 active listings, 4 seven-day Boosts per month, 1 user. Shopfront, detailed statistics, 10 photos of the premises.
• Business: 1,500 active listings, 15 seven-day Boosts per month, 2 users. Bulk import.
• Expert: unlimited listings, 40 seven-day Boosts per month, 5 users. Import by CSV file or API.
• Pro Wholesale: 50 active lots. “Verified wholesaler” badge, price tiers per kilo.

Annual plan: 10 months paid for 12. No commitment, cancellable at the end of the paid period. 30 days of Starter free when the Pro account is approved.

Swaps, wholesale and lots

• Swap with two-way shipping: each of the two pays a swap fee, on delivery.
• In-person swap: free.
• Swap balance payment: a fee paid by the person making it, when shipped; free in person.
• Wholesale purchase: a fee paid by the pro buyer replaces the protection fee.
• Wholesale sale paid online: a commission charged to the wholesale seller, with online payment.
• Lot from an individual under 20 kg: usual protection fee, paid by the buyer.
• Boost for a wholesale lot, 7 days: paid by the seller.

Checks, wallet, referrals

• Phone IMEI check: free.
• Member identity verification: free.
• Electronic device check: coming soon.
• Authentication of a luxury item or hallmarked jewellery: coming soon.
• 3-month electronics warranty: later.
• Referrals: a reward in Trokido credits for the referrer and the referred member, after the referred member’s first sale; 10 referrals rewarded per year at most.
• Gift card: no issuing fee, once online payment opens.
• Vouchers: deducted from Trokido fees and shipping, never from the item’s price, at launch.

How to pay for services

• Protection fees, delivery surcharge, swap and balance fees, wholesale purchase fees: at launch, in cash to the courier, with the price. When online payment opens: with the price, through the payment institution.
• Boosts, shopfront, local listing options: at launch, Google Play or App Store in-app purchase (disabled on the website). Then: card, wallet or in-app purchase.
• Pro and Pro Wholesale subscriptions: at launch, transfer or cash deposit to the TOURAK DIGITAL Morocco account, in-app purchase possible. Then: monthly direct debit.
• Vouchers and referrals: at launch, deducted from Trokido fees and shipping. Then: deducted from the whole basket.

Each service payment gives an email confirmation and an invoice in Wallet, under Invoices. An in-app purchase also gives the Apple or Google receipt.

Refunds and withdrawal

On a shipped purchase, you only pay on delivery and you can refuse a non-conforming item in front of the courier. After receipt, you have 48 hours to report a problem. The protection covers five situations:

• the parcel was never shipped;
• the parcel is lost in transit;
• the item arrived damaged;
• the item doesn’t match the listing, or it’s a counterfeit;
• an item is missing from a lot.

When buyer protection succeeds, you get back the price, shipping, the protection fee and the cash on delivery surcharge. At launch, fees are refunded as a voucher, or by bank transfer if you ask.

A Boost, shopfront or check starts as soon as you pay, at your request. The payment screen tells you so and asks for your consent: “I ask for the Boost to start now and I waive my withdrawal period.” A Pro subscription taken out by a professional carries no right of withdrawal.
